Dinkalem Ademe

This beautiful Ethiopia Wush Wush coffee was made possible by the amazing couple that is Michael and Emily McIntyre of Catalyst Trade. No one knows the in’s and out’s of coffee in Ethiopia better than these two.
We are fortunate Catalyst is nearing their fifth season working with Dinkalem’s coffee and they describe his washing station as one of the most cheerful that they get to visit yearly. From the smiling faces all around to the well-organized production flow that accounts for cherries from over 2,500 producers, it translates to the quality of cup this coffee produces. Dinkalem, a short cheerful man who’s proud of all he’s accomplished in partnership with his wife, Sofia, have been best described as a power couple. Sofia organizes charitable work such as educational sessions for children and food distribution to disenfranchised Keffa people, while Dinkalem has operated his washing station in Wush Wush for over six years.
